First up a simple story mode nothing to complex like HAZE etc, timesplitters was always good for having a quick run through story mode you could play in Co-op too. so 4 Player Co-op in TS4 it seems the new trend

Online Multiplayer that lets your friends share the screen as guests in unranked games like Halo 2-3, Warhawk, Graw Etc..

for people who dont play Online a PvP stat system like Super Smash Bro's Melee... so you can see who rates the best out of all your mates, should record everything like distance walked, distance driven, bullets fired, deaths, kills, suicides, and comparisons between Profiles like Player 1 has 140 kills to player 2 etc...

Multiplayer Map Maker, kinda like Halo 3's Forge Mode.. cause making a map by yourself is no longer fun... LOL... also an off the rails Map maker less cell like behaviour in TS2 / TSFP although it was great i did like the simpleness of FarCry Instincts Map Maker... so we can see people remaking awesome maps like Blood Gulch etc

Points/Cash Earning System like the newest Worms Series (3D, Forts Under Siege and Mayhem) earn money by completing Missions and Challenges one time only and let you buy the rewards yourself so you dont get stuck with crappy characters and you buy your favourites, also buy custom menu's, weapon sets, character variations, vehicles and extra content for Map Maker etc etc
also make once you complete the Challenge you cannot redo it for more rewards unless you only completed it in bronze etc and you wanted the rest of your cash reward.

Less clones, make the characters have variations that you press a shoulder button to swap i.e. new colors or new outfits actually make new colors for everyone important like a blue or red cortez... lol, also have an optional setting that you get to pick your characters you want to appear in your list so you don't have to shuffle through crap to get good ones...

Damage taking vehicles that have full physics system, also passengers that shoot and some nice turrets etc... also more vehicles i.e. helicopters, Jeep's, Hovercrafts, Boats I.e. modern ones, old ones, even futuristic ones like the awesome ones from Just Cause...
no overpowering vehicle abilities like in TSFP where only a good sniper could kill the vehicle whores..

Weapons, i would like to see the TS franchise go back to like Medieval themes and stuff so we can have Bow and Arrow or Crossbows as weapons the TS2 crossbow was okay but and older looking one will do fine, also a sword would be cool, run up and swing a sword oblivion styles into the jerk with a minigun lol...

Overall i would be happy with any TS game ill pay the full price and would love to see a collectors edition i.e. a Tin box with say a 6 inch monkey, perhaps a monkey dressed up as Master Chief from the Halo Universe... lol Master Chimp aka Monkey Chief

All teh good ideas in there have been mentioned elsewhere. All your bad ideas have already been said and slammed.

Anyway, TS Stories aren't famous for been quick and straight forward, TS1 does that, none of the others.

No thankyou. No flying vehicles, maybe a hover vehicle at most.

Yes, the "R1, L1 Toggle" idea for suits is a good idea. Doesn't mean you should add a pointless Red suited Cortez. Hopefully the "Creat an Attire" system is implemented where, if you want a red cortez, create the attire for him and you have your attire.

It'll be like the Create-A-Character idea, but in stead of adding pointless characters at the end, you got your new design, but the character edited still has a meaning. The "Hooded Teeth Mummy" still is "Teeth Mummy", but he managed to find something better than just bandages. Still has the back story of the mummy - how he got to where he was - who he is, but he dressed up differently.

This means
  • No face changer, you got the characters default face
  • Cannot change height and size of character

Hair can be changed.

Very loosely linking into this, does anyone know...

In TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, is your average speed affected if you stand still or if you drive the buggy?

I have an average speed of 16.2 m.p.h. (and still rising), and I've never wanted to compromise it by standing still.  Will it go down on average if I stay on the spot?  And will it increase if I drive a fast buggy?

Can you cover (or vice-versa) the face, though?  I'm just wondering.  It would be cool if I could make a ninja costume for Ghengis Kant or see Time Assassin's face.

Sorry if there were some topics about TS4 BEFORE this one but I'm new to the forum and don't have time to read all of the information on this site :/ I've just searched for "timesplitters 4" topic but this one is shown as the oldest, so sorry if something was written before. My reply for rezo35:

1.IMO the "4 Player Co-op in TS4" wouldn't fit good. 2 player Co-op is great as it is. Can you imagine 4 players doing one story mission?What difficulty should be to make the game challenging or what amount of bots?

2.Comparing the profiles - IMO not needed - you can always make a photo and post it.

3."...making a map by yourself is no longer fun...".Really?!There's nothing better than to have an awesome concept and making it by yourself.Imagine two players trying to make one map..Your ideas could get in the way of other person and vice versa..

4.Points/Cash Earning System are in other games which I've played and they don't seem so accurate (via PES series). For example having the whole list of characters where you can see the names is just spoiling the fun of achieving them by surprise ;)

5.Character variations were in TS2 (for example Capt Forest, Snow, Night etc.) and I believe it wasn't an astonishing idea..("Oh great...I've got another Sgt") :) I liked zombie versions btw! The attire creation mentioned by Lion Heart isn't a bad idea but IMO Crytek UK should spend their time on revolutionising the mapmaker.

6.Flying vehicles could make the game too chaotic. There's nothing like 4 people rushing from different places to get the max dmg. This way the game is more focused on shooting. Boats must have some lakes or rivers at least..Don't think this would work for TS :/

7.I loved the idea of the crossbow in TS2!!!I also think that they should have made more of this kind. Sword could make a good alternative - mostly for medievalheads :D It could be solved like the "sword" in Halo - one cut=instant kill..This would add the "stealth" ways for killing other players/bots.

. Non-stealth story missions could probably increase amount of enemies when there's 2-4 players playing the missions, just like in Serious Sam. Stealth missions could have added objectives other players need to do (Perfect Dark Zero did that, if I remember correctly).

Sword could be a good idea, if there would be no lunge, which is the reason I hate energy sword from Halo. Very small characters could also make problems with that, because of their faster movement speed and, well, small size.

Thanks for the greetings Mk Monkey! I've been on this site several times when I've decided to register. It would be better for me to read the whole topics because of the possibility of making the same comments :/ I'll try to do that asap!

Yeah, I guess that rezo will not read that ;) I have the same feelings about the possible "sword weapon". I think the game could have some "quick arcade matches" etc. for 4 players but not the story missions. When playing "stories" you should have the balance of the real places (be it a factory, town, a bulding etc.) and not great amounts of bots behind every corner :) That's my opinion for it. Apart from that - the 4 co-op maps should get bigger (f.e.:for making the places for those additional objectives) and I prefer that the developers would focus on the creativity, new ideas and solutions, mapmaker, additional stuff, online matches and "normal" story :) I may be wrong of course and (similar to what Ilsa Nadir said at the beginning of "Siberia" mission) - It's all down to Crytek now! :D

I have said it once and ill say it again.  NO REGENERATING HEALTH!  If you want that, I think there are many other shooters out there that does it.  I want a challenge where kids don't fall back to build up their health.  I like the classic, old health bar system as it has always mad the matches funner to play.  I also think that having health bars would keep the Call of Duty campers away.

Regenerating health was kinda interesting when it came out. When I first had an N64 I don't remember any FPS having regen, but now all the most popular FPS have regen (besides BF).

I also think it's silly to say 'I want a challenge, where kids don't fall back to build up their health', isn't it more challenging if you think people so easily and so often have the chance to fall back and regain health? You also have the same advantage.

It's probably true what you say about campers, still not sure if I'd prefer regen or not though.

That's the same as saying that they have a slim chance of finding armour or a medkit because of the distance you are between health spots.

If you're presently being shot at, chances are you do have a slim chance of finding armour or a medkit. I don't think that was my point though. My point was I don't think games that have regen like MW3 would be any more challenging if you had health kits instead of regen.

armour/medkit spawns can also encourage camping.

And I agree about the flying vehicles.
and the 2nd. And the 3rd for the most part.  I think they just added a jeep to Siberia for giggles. I don't think that they intended TS to become a vehicle game. Vehicles in Story mode if they relate to the story is one thing. But not in arcade mode.
