Making enquiries. Who can make it to Manchester on the 20th October?

I really would not know, until much closer to the date, as I shall still be at university.

You know, I could try. But still, my parents don't exactly seem okay with this.

It's also quite far  :(

As a uni student, yes you can.

I can make it to Manchester all day everyday.

If you want a proper Gregg's experience you should come to Newcastle, there is a Gregg's every for hundred yards. It sounds like I'm exaggerating but the weird this is that I'm really not. :l

What are people doing for TVs?

Alright guys, I really need to know who is actually up for this and can make it? Otherwise I'll just cancel it.

Yes. Give a date and time and I will be there with a friend who also loves Timesplitters. We will bring two tv's all the TS games and 2 PS2's. We can drive so will pick anyone up who isn't too far out of the way from South Wales to Manchester. Let's make this happen!

I'm still up for it, but again. I'd only be a spectator / someone to talk to.

Same in Huddersfield :p

For the last time yes!

I'll have a PS2 and a monitor if I can find an S-video to VGA converter. Otherwise I'll just have to guess at what I'm doing.

Unacceptable, bring a PS2 and we'll see if we can fix you up with a copy of TS. Probably for £3 from some second hand game shop.

What happened to those young people who were considering this? Are they determined to fail in the task of arriving in Manchester with some equipment?

Furthermore, do we have anything for a venue? I don't want to be stood in the middle of Manchester with a bunch of electronics. I'd love to offer my normal house (just north of Leeds), but there will be some people in it who object to your presence - nothing personal.

Jolteon could you bring a switch or network device with 6 ports on it? (mind you, we could just set up a wifi LAN)

With regards to venue, I am negotiating a business room at a premier inn.

If needs be, we could probably steal my house for a while. But it's a regular terraced house in semi-rural yorkshire. It isn't big, by any stretch of the imagination.

If 7 people are going it will cost £20 each for the premier inn, so the more people we get the lower the cost.

I would actually consider going...if anyone near my age was going. Looks like everyone that is going so far is aged 20 or more  :(
