Well knives did start out with the question, yay or nay.  MW3921 votes a resounding nay!  I vote that MW3921 stops voting now.

Hey, those are pretty cool platforming maps! lawl :woot:

No, there aren't any enemies as of yet. Well, you could possibly lure Mr. Fleshcage out of his shell if you try really, really hard, but... Yeah part 2 sort of has more eleborate lightning already, but I'll keep working on that. When I'm going to include enemies I want them to be an actual threat, so I may go the stealth route. Though I found out the other day that if you equip zombies with a baseball bat, they will still hit you back even when they keep flinching from your attacks, which is nice. And if you set them on fire, they won't flinch at all.

At what point does it stop working for you?

I would much rather actually play the map than watch it being played, but overall I thought it was pretty good.

Also, congrats on getting MW banned...again.

I take it you don't have a USB memory card stick for the gamecube (and a gamecube)? And thanks!

Yeah, he didn't really do anything but inflate his own ego at that point. Makes sense that he was banned before.

Unfortunately, I have neither.

Would you be able to use the memory card files with a Gamecube emulator?

I have no clue. Are there any decent GC emulators released?

A gameshark for gamecube actually would work but you'd have to convert the .gci file to a .gcs file that has the special gameshark header in the code.  I've only done the vice versa, because I don't have a gameshark to test the results of converting in the other direction.

Found this converter program just now, not sure how it works:
Quote from: eurasia.nu
Gamecube Savefile Converter v1.03
Description: This little tool lets you convert between GCI ,MAX Drive (SAV), and Mad Catz GameShark SharkSave (GCS) savegames. Based on MaxDrive Save Converter v1.0 by bLAStY, TheImp, ASk and EVASiON. Includes source code. New in this version: Fixed bug in Max Drive Pro (SAV) support.
Author: Buzbee Version: 1.03 Filesize: 12311 bytes

Why don't you try it out?

Meh, looks like its not compatible with my windows 7 so I can't even open it to look.  Be interesting if it has a region converter.  If not, EMS's GCZHUP does, for the .gci files; knives could provide both PAL and US versions for further converting into .gcs.

Another option for converting .gci to .gcs is using a free hex editor to copy/paste a gameshark header from one of your own gameshark saves into the very beginning of the code, change the file extension, and see what happens. You may have to delete a matching number of bytes from the very bottom of the code so that the file size stays exactly the same.  Back up anything on you card first, you may cause yourself to need to format it if the file becomes corrupted.

Adding to that, here's the link to the last post in the topic, which has the GCI file of the updated part 2.

Can you attach files to posts on this forum?

You actually can now, these days.  Also, I figured out that converter program I mentioned a couple of posts back.  Turns out I was just using it wrong. Now I won't need to use a hex editor ever again.

So, as I promised to play these a long time ago, I finally got to it and managed to get them on my game/memory card!

I will keep it short and simple,

I definitely enjoyed both of them. The first one was, in many ways, creepy as hell, as the atmosphere really sets the mood in the map. The puzzle part in it was also very nicely done. It kept the player (me) busy while still being "locked" in that creepy map/room which was both cool and annoying aswell, because I really felt like something was "looking" at me.

The second map started out brilliantly with the creepy sounds going over and over. While the design in the beginning could need an update and could be done a bit differently, it wasn't bad at all and I liked it. The puzzle part however was brilliant. I very much enjoyed it and figured it out after looking around for some time. The puzzle itself also added nicely to the creepy atmosphere (still with the sounds from the beginning). The ending was also nicely done with the hidden ghost gun enemy shooting at you and everything being all mysterious. Only thing left to say is: Where's part 3? =D

(Currently also playing The Aleckardnator. If I somehow magically get my recorder to work, I'll record it + the two Witch maps if you would like me to!).
