I think we should make it clear the policies of information sources, particularly regarding the announcement of TS4.

TimeSplitters Portal does not want to get on the bad side of Crytek or any professional body for that matter. But we can appreciate that most of you are anxious for information and confirmation of TS4's supposed development and release.


* By all means, pester Crytek employees, but do not pester people outside of Crytek.People who don't work for Crytek are not accountable, no matter what their connection is. Plus even if "Contact Jimmy" is a friend of someone who works at Crytek, if Jimmy claims to know information he's either broken a non-disclosure agreement, or he's lying. So please, don't try to get or go by information obtained from 3rd party individuals.


* As a matter of respect, I believe you shouldn't contact a Crytek employee via Facebook or other means outside of their website or official places.You've had a long day at work and then come home, log into Facebook to do some socialising when some randomer asks you about TS4. How'd you like that?

I understand the not pestering people on Facebook thing; however, I think use the "proper" means of communication will get little to no response other than maybe a a generic pre-written answer.  I'd say we should all just sit tight at this point.  We're very close to an announcement, so trying to find leaked information just seems pointless now.

If you don't want people to contact you outside your work, then you shouldn't have a twitter, facebook or w/e social community you are an with your real name, as always people will try to get information out of you.

I can understand why this topic was created, but if you jump into the lions cage, you'll meet the lions.

It's not jumping into the lions cage, they didn't ask for this attention. It's being attacked by a lion when you went for tea in Kenya.
