I am currently reading Children of the Mind, which is the fourth and final book of the Ender Quartet. I started reading this series about 7 years ago, so I'm very excited to finally be able to finish it.

Fun Fact: The first book, Ender's Game, is what really got me into reading science fiction.

Reading Richard Dawkins's collaberation of Darwins' origin of species and voyage of the beagle for biological anthropology class. Man liked his pigeons.

Going to read Metro 2034 soon. Metro 2033 was great book though it had a bit too long dialogues (About 40-60 pages long dialogue to start the book, yay!).

Just finished reading 'Chris Jericho: A Lion's Tale'. Gives a great insight into the professional wrestling industry decades ago, and he's also hilarious. I've been bogged down with reading books on journalistic ethics and law for uni, so it's a nice change to read something light-hearted that makes me laugh.

Now about to start reading 'The Concept of Mind' by Gilbert Ryle. I've been fascinated by the theories behind the mind for years now, and I thought I'd pick it up at the library because it had a sexy front cover (that doesn't seem to be showing up on Google Images).

I have much that I've brought (should that be bought? I've never been able to tell) recently to read. One of them includes a book on speed reading, which I hoped to get through first with the ambition to get through the others quicker whilst retaining more than before, which is the purpose of the book. That went to shit after I found it uninteresting and couldn't retain half the stuff it was telling me (no joke, sometimes my life writes this shit itself).

I heard about the technique briefly through reading 'how to pass exams' by Dominic O' Brien and was fascinated by it and, as my reading ability suffers unless it's truly gripping on many levels to me (which it rarely is), thought it might work. But it failed and here I am reading 'money: the morality of exchange' to delve into the cultural impact of economic systems in other society's. Part of my course and, so far, it's gripping.

Started reading Game of Thrones from A Song Of Ice And Fire-series some time ago. Other wise very good book, but it some times feels like the plot doesn't continue at all.

After completing Solaris by Lem I am reading the first Dune novel.
How is Solaris? I don't think any book in existance will ever surpass the feeling I had while reading Lem's 'The Cyberiad', but I'd be keen to read everything else written by him.

I found Dune to be a great read. In fact, I posted my thoughts about it on this thread:

'Dune' by Frank Herbert. Superb writing skills here. Detailed analysis of human psychology and with a cracking political story to boot. The Dune universe is just so expansive and incredible that I miss reading about it. I'll maybe pick up some of the sequel books, but I've been told by a friend that it starts to go in another direction after the first one.
I never did pick up any of those sequels. Hmm.

I'm reading Catch-22 right now.
I swear, that book is a classic. It's much better than "Catcher in the Rye" and its related ilk. Plus, it's hilarious!

I think it is pretty good. I like Lems analysis of the problems based on mankinds anthropocentric interpretation of the universe. I just have read "His master's voice" before. But I'm pretty sure I will read more books by Lem in the future.

Speaking of Dave Mustaine, apparently there's a Bible edition that he and Dave Ellifson wrote a forward for. I'm mildly interested to see if it's just a recantation of their experiences with Christianity or a stab at theological interpretation and dissection.

Hunter S. Thompson is one of the greats.

Currently, I've been reading "Will the Last Reporter Please Turn Out the Lights?" It's a great book with a lot of perspectives on the future of journalism.

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream
This short story is just crazily depressing. The ending is shocking. *SPOILERS* How depressing is it that the only way to stop the evil computer is to kill themselves, so that it can't have any slaves? *SPOILERS* It's quite original though.
