Not the announcement we where hoping for, but any attention towards TimeSplitters is a good thing! Thanks Play UK, looking forward to this issue of Play

Bad news unfortunately, I just received a response (as did @TimeSplitters4) on Twitter from Play Magazine elucidating on the content of the upcoming feature:
"Interviews with ex-Free Radical guys on why it never came out, how far they got with it, etc"
No announcement or even speculation towards a future release it appears. On the plus side, we do get a TS4 article to keep us company.

This kinda contradicts their previous article saying about an announcement. Just a feature on why it didn't come out? Really? Hmm.

The Original statement never specifically confirmed it, it could have just been a hint of what they were going to do back in OPM

I hope this isn't a denouncement ;(.
If it is an announcement, it would be great though, although it seems an unlikely place to announce it...
Maybe if it is 'why it never came out', they could talk about the TS4 they worked on at FRD, not necessarily a newer TS4 made by Crytek UK :tarryhipper:
