Saint's Row series was strange. What's the deal with the first two being serious, but with some fun aspects like Streaking or Septic Avenger, and then the third being so goofy?

I don't even know. SRTT was a weird non gangster game. It had zero serious moments and there was too much sci-fi and celebrity factors involved.

I would call Saints Row 2 many things, but "serious" isn't necessarily one of them. Serious moments, sure. But overall, I'm not sure I'd use serious to describe the plot.

Saints Row 1 is serious but with fun moments. Saints Row 2 is half serious half dark comedy.

Just finished Mass Effect 2. I finished the Suicide Mission with 1 squad member death, and half of my crew died (all non-major crew members survived).

Currently re-enjoying the massive environment of Fallout New Vegas. Already had a 5-day rental before on PS3, but I just bought the Ultimate (+100% uncut german version) edition of the game. *yay*

Just finished a no-kill playthrough on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Truly one of the best games I've ever played.

I bought the Potato Sack Indie Bundle on Steam. So I switch between these games and Company of Heroes & Dawn of War 2 at the moment.

Finished Mass Effect 2 again, this time I imported the save into Mass Effect 3. Everyone, including the crew, survived the final mission.

I had to beat the game twice aswell. My first time everyone except Mordin (Who I sent through the pipes) Lived. I played through it all again, and saved him. Not sure what the difference was, everything was done the same.

I recently acquired Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, SEGA All Stars Racing, and Grand Theft Auto 3 for my iPad, since I'm gonna need some games and such to pass the time in Honduras, heh.

THPS2 plays decently, though the buttons are a little big (could be cause it's originally an iPhone game and the image is blown up on the iPad). It's also affected by a few glitches like sound bugs and crashing sometimes on the competition levels, but it's still playable. It was $2 and it is one of my favorite games of all time, so yeah.

SEGA All Stars Racing was free so I was like, why not? Pretty simple game but still fun. Helps that there's a good amount of stuff to unlock.

I never played GTA3 before (go ahead, shoot me now), though I have played Vice City and San Andreas. Even though gun combat is far from great on the iPad, everything else plays well. Looks and sounds great, too. Was $5 on the store, worth it.

Past few weeks a friend of mine has been bringing over Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for the rest of us to play and it's pretty fun. My team most of the time has been Morrigan, Iron Man, and Nemesis. Kick ass team, imo.

Also playing Skyrim again, but this time on pc. Getting ready for the Dawnguard DLC on tuesday. Getting it for Xbox, then I'll get it on Steam when it comes out.

I am absolutely ecstatic about Dawnguard, but disappointed the rest of us have to wait so long for it. Oh well. I booted up Skyrim again the other day in order to begin maxing out my enchanting.
