LOTR was too long to keep me interested throughout. Terminator 2 was one of the most badass films of all time, so easily gets my vote :tarryhipper:

I go for LOTR. It was long but in theater it isn't really a problem and in DVD we can still have the booze prepared. The climax and the music were great.

Just some things bugged me , in the opening scene, Sauron kills everyone like in an Asterix Comic. Also Orcs are depicted as "average", goblins are ... goblins , but we mix them and and we have big steroided monsters.

Terminator 2 was good, but I prefer the first one which has still good animatronic effects, but it's still great with the godamn freeway chasescene. The time teleportation were still the same, but Terminator 3 really CGIed them.

I agree with this. I loved the books, but the movie actually put me to sleep once. I feel that though Peter Jackson made an admirable effort with the franchise, the novels convey the story better (Tolkien's awful poems/lyrics aside).

Really disappointed that Terminator 2 lost to the worst LotR film.
It took so long to type this correctly. I'm completely hammered.
I think this would be fun if every body was a monkey and have your neck snapped.

Balrog ain't nothin' compar'd 'o Uruk-Hais getting stomp'd by Rohan or the battle for Pelennor fields.

Lord of the Rings narrowly defeats Terminator 2 6-5.

Match 4 is between The Hangover and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

The Hangover (Undead Priest52)
A Las Vegas-set comedy centered around three groomsmen who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy during their drunken misadventures, then must retrace their steps in order to find him.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (FezzyBear)
An oddball journalist and his psychopathic lawyer travel to Las Vegas for a series of psychadelic escapades.

i havent seen FALIV but Hangover is way too highly over rated. i dont think i laughed once during that movie
AidanR084 was my name at one point
so that you can have all of the call of duty time, that you deserve!

I'm gonna vote FALILV. I did remember some scenes and it is a classic...I loved The Hangover but now I can't stand it. I'll take Hot fuzz any day. So, yep. FALILV it is (a plus to FALILV is that Franky Four Fingers is in the film  :cheesy:)...

The Hangover was fun the first time when I saw it with friends. Then I saw it again, and again and it kind of started to grate a bit. Repetition starts to reveal how formulaic it really is.

Fear and Loathing defeats The Hangover 6-2.

Match 5

Aliens (Greater MK Monkey)
The planet from Alien has been colonized, but contact is lost. This time, the rescue team has impressive firepower, but will it be enough?

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black (Godman)
Blacksmith Will Turner teams up with eccentric pirate "Captain" Jack Sparrow to save his love, the governor's daughter, from Jack's former pirate allies, who are now undead.

Ah, man. Pirates of the Caribbean, most definitely. I love those series of movies. Aliens is good..but I just don't think it was as good.  ;)

Pirates. Aliens is great and all but it felt too much like a cliche war film.
