I've probably watched one episode of both of these shows, and I can't really remember either of them.

What I do remember about TWD though, was that it seemed to be a clear rip-off of Left 4 Dead, and I can't decied whether I like that or not.

TWD is based off a comic series, which was releashed way before TWD. And the show follows it fairly accuratly.

Columbo - Fezzybear
When you first saw him, Lt. Columbo, looked like a bum that just came off the street. He had a bumbling demeanor, was overly polite and seemed to chomp on the same short cigar on a daily basis. However, beneath all that comical exterior was probably the most dogged investigator on the Los Angeles Police Department. Columbo was often called on to investigate high profile murders that involved the rich and famous. The culprits were often amused by him and just as they thought they were going to get away with murder, Columbo would find a way trap them or find enough evidence to make them confess.

Rick Grimes is a former police officer who has been in a coma for several months after being shot whilst on duty. When he wakes, he discovers that the world has been taken over by Zombies, and that he seems to be the only person still alive. Having returned home to discover his wife and son missing, he heads for Atlanta to search for his family. Narrowly escaping death at the hands of the Zombies on arrival in Atlanta, he is aided by another survivor Glenn who takes Rick to a camp outside the town. There Rick finds his wife Lori and son Carl. Along with his partner and best friend Shane, he founds a small group of survivors who struggle to fend off the zombie hordes, as well as competing with other survivor groups who are prepared to do whatever it takes to survive.

I always considered Raw the better of the two shows in the time I watched it. I'm not sure how much it's changed in the last 2 years that I gave the shows up, but I've always enjoyed Raw more than Smackdown, the latter of which I always remember was a place to showcase old talent and bad new talent.
