The Series Finale - The Demigod!

The Demigod Origins: Rise Of The Apocalypse - The Demigod - Series Finale - (Part 48)!

Stay tuned for the Epilogue!

You should cobble together a highlight reel or something, because even for as much as I am interested in seeing this project to it's completion, it's hard to justify watching this many videos.

I just watched part 46, and I really must congratulate you on a job well done. You managed to achieve a level of grandiosity that is rare is timesplitters map. However, during the video I noticed that for the lower layers of the pyramid, you used an invisible ramp (required to maintain the high roof), but I'm curious if because of this the player would be safe from the enemies, save for the berserker splitters' lightning, at these levels. It certainly looked this way in the video. You could probably have devised some sort of hidden teleport system to transport the enemies to the top, but that might not even be nescesary, considering how zombies have a tendency to move on their own when you're not looking. Furthermore. I don't even know if a zombie would be capable of using a teleporter. I know a berserker splitter would not be able to, at least when initiated.

Eat light, you stupid machine!

If that's the reason for many other people I'd just say watch the ones you want to watch. Every map is important to the story so I can't really make highlights out of them due to the amount of work put into each map and the amount of story told in each map.

Yet, I know this is probably the reason why the views are pretty low (especially on the later ones), but look at it this way. The maps are all online now for everyone to watch. And people can decide themselves if/when/how they want to watch them and what they want to watch etc.

I'm happy for the interest, though. I appreciate all the support I can get on my series!

To be very honest, this map was a pain for me to design and build, haha. It never really did what I wanted it to do.

I originally wanted a few of the TimeSplitters to stay on the top levels permanently, but after alot of trouble with the memory and the map itself, it just didn't work in the end. After that, I revamped the map the way you see it in the video. The weird part was (on this very playthrough), that when I finally got on the top level, the TimeSplitters and the undead didn't attack anymore. It was a pure silence down there. In earlier playthroughs the TimeSplitters just continued shooting their lightning bolts even at the top floor which was a lot more challenging when on low health. I have no idea why it didn't happen on this playthrough, but it's probably the best I could do with the last bit of memory I had left. Much appreciated for the feedback, though. I'll definitely try and improve it!

As for the undead walking to the top,
They somehow don't know how to use the invisible ramps on this map as far as I know, which is why I never saw them on top :/

The Epilogue will be uploaded in about 2 days. It features 4 maps of which the 4th is the final and last part of the series. Don't miss it!

You made a mistake with the download link for map 19.  For that one you gave the same link as for map 15, so you don't actually have map 19 downloadable at the moment.

I might add that its a bit confusing that the file names get out of sync with the youtube numbers starting at 15 as well, but I'm figuring it out and renaming them as I go to keep them straight.  After I get them all downloaded and converted to US I will get back to playing through them.
Kizzar! Here there be TimeSplitter Tales!

I shall look right now and fix any mistakes, thanks for notifying me!

As for the "out of sync". Map 16 and map 18 were made "later" in the series. Map 15 (B-2) is 16 and map 16 (B-2) is 18. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

here's a way to make the renaming easier:

Part 1 to 15 are actually part 1 to 15.
Then we get the first (B-2) map which means the second map 15 so it's 16.
16 will then turn to 17 and 16 (B-2) is then 18.
17 is then actually 19 and 19 is 20.
As you see after the (B-2) maps are "fixed" in number every downloaded map file's number must be added with + 2 to get the right series number.

But when playing these on the gamecube it's not hard at all. You can just put them on the memory card and at map 15 you play 15 (B-2) afterwards and then 16 and then 16 (B-2). I hope this all makes sense, haha.

*Adding the "missing file" right now!

*Quick note,

A few comments up I posted a .zip with part 1 to part 48. I'm pretty sure the missing part 19 is in there aswell. But I've added it in this post to be sure.

That makes perfect sense.  Thanks for the zip file, that is tons more convenient than the mediafire downloads which only work half the time, result in annoying popup-blocker-avoiding popups (maybe I allowed them for that site in the hopes it would make the downloads work), and which I will completely disregard now!  :D

One more clarification though--which comes first, 19 [1-D] or 19 [1-L]?

...And your light/dark paths for parts 20 and 21 (youtube) are alternate routes within the same 2 maps?

I have converted them all to US region for anyone in the US hacking a Wii that might can play them now.  I could also convert them to .gcs or to .sav files if anyone has a Gameshark or an Action Replay Max Drive for Gamecube, to play them.

Great to see it works and awesome that you posted the USA versions!

Part 20 is a kind of "Choice RPG" map. You can pick either the Light or the Dark path. When you pick let's say, the Dark Path, you must continue by playing Part 21 Dark Path. This also works for the light path(s). I did this to put a cool "Choose a path" idea in the series!

Of course it's totally possible/perfectly fine to play both, haha. They feature the same kind of ending and work to the same goal. They just give you different "locations" and missions!

Sorry, I guess I'm a bit slow this morning... So if 19 is youtube 20 (of which there are 2 versions/paths), why isn't there a 20 [1-D] and a 20 [1-L] to lead out of the corresponding #19's? (corresponding to the 2 YouTube #21's?). Does a single map contain both paths in the second L/D map?

The first map (Map 20 youtube) contains both "Starting" routes and is just 1 map total.
After that one you will "continue" to the Dark or Light route/map. There are 2 of those: Light and Dark. That's why there are the 19 (1-D and 19 (1-L) + only normal 18. (+ 2 to get correct nummer: map 20 and 21 (1-D) - (1-L). These are essentially 2 maps that both focus each on Dark/Light.

I did make 2 video's of map 18 (20), though, to show people both sides of the routes, yet it's all just 1 map. Sorry for the confusion.
