Was just gonna post this on my previous thread. If Fragger is lurking, thanks for covering the series. I know Achievement Hunter should have a big impact on getting more people to discover the games. Hopefully this helps with the petition and getting Crytek's attention.

Also, I still would suggest mailing or slipping copies of the games to the guys at Rooster Teeth if anybody is going to RTX. A mention on the podcast would probably boost awareness like crazy :P

The video won't help the fan campaign much since it is neither mentioned in the video nor in the video description.

Lurking away over here. This was supposed to be next weeks episode while I was away at RTX but alas shit came up and what was going to be this week (a break from the FPS games) was held off. *sigh* and I wanted to polish this vid some more.

I would have brought up the fan campaigns but there is something that I have always believed in. A video you produce isnt just watched day one. It is watched for YEARS so if I said "Hey there is this Facebook page! Go there" or "Join this campaign to get a new TS" when those break down or sites go under it almost drags the vids down..

That and I recorded the audio at 5am after downing two energy drinks. Weeee.

EDIT: Also what helps me as well as helping you is spreading the video around. Toss it towards Crytek. Let them know that us fans will not shut up and will continue to make slightly entertaining videos about TS until a new one is made!

You still can do that by means of the comment below the video and remove it once the campaign is a) not needed anymore or b) has gone down the drain.

I move that this thread be merged with PostwarOrphan's topic.

I have to agree with this, though I also agree with this:

You still can do that by means of the comment below the video and remove it once the campaign is a) not needed anymore or b) has gone down the drain.

I've never posted anything on YouTube, but descriptions can be edited after the video is posted, too, right?  Perhaps a link there temporarily would be well-suited.

Also, there's nothing stopping any of us from linking to the campaign in the comments (albeit that isn't as effective as something from the uploader themselves).

EDIT: Also what helps me as well as helping you is spreading the video around. Toss it towards Crytek. Let them know that us fans will not shut up and will continue to make slightly entertaining videos about TS until a new one is made!

Quoting again for the sake of agreement.  Pretty much anything can help show there is a fanbase for TS; it doesn't have to be the Facebook page specifically.  Showing them this is just as good as anything.

Keep in mind this is on the Rooster Teeth channel, which I doubt Fragger has access to. He would have to ask whoever he needs to temporarily post a link and then remind them to take it down when it is no longer relevant.

My friend linked this to me yesterday. More publicity can only be a good thing. Hopefully the Facebook page picks up momentum again.

Ah, I didn't realize that.  It's still not stopping us from commenting.

I think it did a little, but has died down again.
