Righto, let's start with an amateurish unfinished sample logo before I begin my post:


How much better the final product will look than that goofy thing is up to how picky FuturePerfection is (which isn't very).  The plan as discussed in Skype is to use the team's main color as the glow behind the crest, their secondary color as the boarder, and a combination of the two in some sort of pattern as the middle.  Then a headshot of a TS character on the team (most likely in cartoon form since decent resolution shots of faces from the game are hard to come by) smacked in the center.  So basically what everyone needs to give me is [1] what pattern you want as your background (ex: stipes, checks, plain, whatever) and [2] which character from your team you want on the crest.  In the example above, FuturePerfection's team colors are red and black, and he chose [1] an X design and [2] Jacque de la Morte for the middle of the crest.

O.K., apparently making your own logo instead of keeping everyone uniform is also an option.  If you want to do that, go ahead and post that you're doing that instead of giving me the two bits of information above.

Oh, also apparently the head you choose doesn't have to be a member of your team.  I assumed Jaque de la Morte was on FuturePerfection's team when he said that's who he wanted, but now that I've actually looked at this thread, I see that's no the case.

Really, I see no reason that your crest logo has to be a head at all.

Since everyone around here insists on being polite and thanking me for making the crest (what's up with that?), I'll go ahead and post a general "you're welcome" here...except for chrismafuchris.  He doesn't get a "you're welcome" because he didn't respond to my last PM.

Clearly no improvements were made between that post and all the final crests added to the thread today.  I thought my texture job was pretty shoddy, but everyone else seemed content with it, so I didn't bother making any changes.  Fun fact in case no one noticed: The crest shape I used was based on the Reaper Splitter's head:
