Here's an article about a PS2 emu for PC, that's going "public" atm.
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/pcsx2-playstation-2-emulator-public-version-1-0-released/

And here's the direct site of the guys behind it:
http://pcsx2.net/download.html

So yeah, if it helps anyone getting textures or anything out of the TS games for the TSCP eventually I'd be happy I could help. :D

PCSX2 has been public for a while.
This is just their first complete 1.0 release, I think.

So, is it true you need some sort of modded PS2 to put the BIOS from your PS2 onto your computer for this emulator thing to even work?

I have never tested this specific PS2 emulator before. But of the ones I tried you never had to do that.

Free McBoot or a modded PS2. That way you can dump your bios for use with this emulator ... or you could get them online.

Finally managed to get this to run some (two) games reasonably. Thankfully, one of those was TS1, which I brought with my laptop and a USB PS1 controller into school yesterday. There wasn't a single moment in my free period when there wasn't somebody wanting to play split screen with me, saying "this game was my entire childhood" :hype:

Also, I managed to try the game using a keyboard and mouse, which could be a world-first, and the controls work really well, with the only problem being the low mouse-sensitivity.

Wouldn't it be something if we could jury-rig an online split-screen game of TS1 on an emulator? That would be pretty sweet.

Would it maybe be possible using hamachi and TS2 (Which in PS2 form, had LAN no?) hook this up so we could trick the emulator into thinking we were playing a LAN game? Of course that's if the emulator has network connections.

Possibly. I know next to nothing about PS2 emulation, but maybe this could work. I think I'll look into it.
