It basically means, press X to enter game but hit triangle to cancel to the character list. You'll go into the game with your selected character, and under Team Circus/Team Trooper Grey and you'll be invisible on the radar.

Can't remember how I discovered it, I think me and my brothers were mucking around on  the character select screen, selecting and deselecting colours or something.

I didn't realize there was already a thread about this when I started my thread awhile back.

I still don't know what insomnia is.  Has anyone asked FRD?

This glitch doesn't work for player 1, only 2, 3, and 4.  I think you're grey on the radar as well, not invisible.  I have the US PS2 version.

If not invisible, are very hard to see colour on the radar. Used to annoy my brothers because they didn't know I was coming yet I knew where they were.

Anyone want to ask Graeme about this?  He's been actively in communication with the TS community over the last couple years (even a few days ago Joshed7 said Graeme responded to him somewhere), and he's been with the company from day one, so he probably knows what the heck Insomnia time is and can tell us.

I had always assumed it was the longest amount of time you spent playing in one sitting, but it seems unlikely judging by some people's answers.

I believe my Insomnia time is several days, so that makes no sense at all.

In that case, perhaps it's the total time, or perhaps you just left your console on.

I believe it's time spent in the game in few days, not how long you have played without switching the console off (The game would count the days from the console's calendar, if that's possible?). I have never had the console on for 24 hours at once, yet I still have over 24 hours of playtime in Insomnia.
