alright ama get this thread back on track, pronto.

saw death proof today. in short its about a sadistic stuntman who kills sexy ladies in his "death proof" muscle car. its a tarantino so any educated film-nut like myself will know what to expect from it. The driving scenes are awesome and the lap dance scene is sexy as hell, throw in a killer soundtrack and its a good movie. The storyline kinda meanders and you never really know where you are but other than that the acting is impeccable (especially quentin's cameo, bravo good sir.) and its a nice angle in the slasher field.

also saw 30 days of night recently. Cards on the table im not a big horror fan, and the trailer for this just screamed "been there." secluded alaskan town is overrun by 'vampires' during a month without sunlight. I liked the precedent but it kinda gets boring after a while. Josh hartnett follows through with a good solid piece of acting but the ending is truly abysmal. It gets cut short leaving you hating the lazy director for not filming a half decent ending. lazy son of a bitch. overall i would reccomend this film if your into horror flicks but if your not, find something else to break into the genre, this'll leave a bad taste in your mouth.

I just watched Hot Fuzz on TV. Heh, the TV Magazine said 'medium violence'. Well, if you've watched it before, you'll get why that's funny.

I probably need to watch it. Watched a short snip. Didn't pay much attention so I can't say if I'd like it or not.

Indeed. Best looking thing is Bee Movie, and, well, that's not exactly a good thing. XD
