Transformers was okay, but far too long. Also, I was disappointed that the dialog between the Transformers themselves was so generic. It had decent battle sequences though, and the first hour or so was entertaining.

Just saw transformers last week.  Not bad at all considering what they had to work with.  "Oh no, parents!" and the backyard scene in general was the best part of that movie.

A lot of good fight scenes.

Saw Hostel Part 2 as well.  Not scary at all, kinda funny actually at the very beginning.  Like the cat being on the body was just stupid funny.  Then everything else was just really gross and didn't really do what it was supposed too.  Only good think about that movie was the super hot chick european chick.

American Gangster... it's awesome. Nothing wrong with it and probably my favorite movie of the year over my other favorites Rescue Dawn, Eastern Promises, Bourne Ultimatum, and Zodiac. Not including Hot Fuzz and Superbad because comedy is hard to compare..

Hitman movie? Never heard that news before, oh well, they will probably screw it up. Still I'll be sure to watch it. Anyone seen Evan Almighty? It was good, but not as good as Bruce almighty. (thou shalt do the dance! :P)
My fav movie would hav to be , and I know you're going to think I'm a geek for saying this, The Emperors New Groove :P. Don't laugh! :no:

Haven't seen it so who am I to judge.

Anyways, all video game movies turn out terrible.  I'm sure it will be no different with Hitman.

And is Russell Crowe ever in a bad movie?

Probably, but most all of his late movies have been great. L.A Confidential, Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, Master and Commander, Cinderalla Man, 3:10 to Yuma, and American Gangster.

I recently watched Reign Over Me. I've gotta say, I'm starting to like Adam Sandler in these serious roles he's been taking on lately. In the movie, he plays a guy who has severe depression after his family died in 9/11.

American Gangster was a good movie, as for those of you like myself who are going to see Hitman, just letting you all know that the movie looks like its defentley getting an R rating, if you want to know why its because the movie has a lot of violence, and not that Horror movie blood and gore type, more like the game type.

I saw that recently, as well. It's quite a movie as it jerks your emotions to and fro with Adam Sandler's character. Don Cheadle's character handled some of those situations much better than I would have.

I agree. It was definitely quite a tale not only of mental illness and the post 9/11 world, but also of friendship. The film had several underlying points, and that really made it enjoyable.

The only movies I'm really looking forward to are AVP 2, Beowulf and Cloverfield;

I already know AVP 2 is going to be leaps and bounds better than the first because of the R rating and it's going towards the 80's style in regards to the creatures and violence.

Beowulf will probably be good since because Angelina Jolie :wub:is in it and it seems to have a similar style to 300 (which was an awesome movie btw).

Cloverfield is probably my most anticipated movie because I've been following this movie since the 1st trailer came out in August and because I really want to know what the monster looks like. Plus there's the fact that there haven't been many good giant monster movies since Peter Jackson's King Kong and before that the old Godzilla movies so this should be refreshing if it delivers.
