The only movies I'm really looking forward to are AVP 2, Beowulf and Cloverfield;

I already know AVP 2 is going to be leaps and bounds better than the first because of the R rating and it's going towards the 80's style in regards to the creatures and violence.

Beowulf will probably be good since because Angelina Jolie :wub:is in it and it seems to have a similar style to 300 (which was an awesome movie btw).

Cloverfield is probably my most anticipated movie because I've been following this movie since the 1st trailer came out in August and because I really want to know what the monster looks like. Plus there's the fact that there haven't been many good giant monster movies since Peter Jackson's King Kong and before that the old Godzilla movies so this should be refreshing if it delivers.
I need to catch up with the film coming out. I havent heard of any of those

I have just finished watching "300". Excellent film with a slightly disappointing ending. Well at least the door is open for a sequel. The fight scenes where great, they really get ya hyped. I wanna be a Sparta LOL.

I watched Transformers yesterday. Which was also pretty good. They did a good job of getting you to feel for the Autobots. The quality wasnt great on the copy i sore, so the SFX and fight scenes where compromised.

Transformers is very over-rated. The CGI looked fake, the movie had no interesting storyline and the action sequences didn't excite me. Overall rating - 4/10.

The CGI looked fake
You mean the CGI looked like CGI.  :smartass:

It looks like that no matter what movie, the only different is the TransFormers are huge.

CGI has been proven to be good in lots of movies. Not Tranformers however.

I would give it 7/10. I would rate Ghost Rider at 4/10 because of the same reasons you discredited Transformers.

I am legend is pretty good. I would rate it 8.5/10. Will Smith gave an excellent performance and it has a great story if a little sad. Plus good SpecialFX.

I enjoyed it.

Just watched "Shooter" I would give it 7.75/10. It only lost my interest once. The only let down really was the fact that you didnt feel anything for the main character. If he died right at the end (like in I am legend) I wouldnt of really cared. Not a bad story tho if a little corny at times.#

Its not a film I would buy.

I would give Transformers maybe a 5 or 6/10 the overall plot was terrible and boring. The robots were cool and the explosions were cool, but I really just couldn't take it seriously thanks to the corny love story going on in the background.

From what I've heard it wasn't too great, but contains some decent action. Fans of the game will probably like it more I assume, but again I haven't seen it.
