Does anyone like Christopher Nolan? The hate for him is getting annoying. I think he makes amazing movies, with great story telling and music. Though I was not that big a fan on Inception. It felt like the poor man's Matrix.
I've only ever watched two Christopher Nolan movies (The Dark Knight and Inception), and I only liked one of those. (Inception). Not sure I've heard any hate for him really, and from what I see his movies are making a lot of money and a lot of people like.

As for Prometheus, I found it perfectly enjoyable and a good movie. Apparently there are meant to be three Prometheus films, and that's why a lot of things weren't really answered. I think that's a bit of a cop-out, but only because I had no idea there were meant to be three of them.
I think this would be fun if every body was a monkey and have your neck snapped.

I've been loathe to go see Prometheus. I saw an interview with Charlize Theron which made it seem kind of interesting, but the commercials for it were seizure-inducing. I know the film itself probably isn't like that, but...ugh.

You could watch the viral videos, they're not in the movie so not as spoilerific as the trailers, and don't have that effect. They'll make you want to go see it.

I still think you should, despite the obvious flaws in the script, which is my main problem with it, not its ambiguity (although it was frustrating at first, while I didn't mind it in say, films like Blade Runner or the Blair Witch Project).

Have any of you seen Delicatessen? I watched it today after returning from class and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Saw Prometheus on Saturday and enjoyed it. The special effects were a thing of a future and I enjoyed the suspense and adventure feel of it.

However, I literally finished watching Predator 10 minutes ago and that is by far the top action film I've seen. Great scenes, great suspense, great plot, it ticked all the right boxes for me.

It's just such a brilliant film. Everything's pretty much perfect.
Plus, it's endlessly quotable. Here are some scenarios I use them in:

"I ain't got time to bleed." - Paper cuts/blood tests.
"I'm a goddamned sexual Tyrannosaurus." - Chattin' up da laydees.
"You're one ugly motherfucker." - If da laydees don't like my chat-up line.
"Dillon you son of a bitch. (Hand shake)" - Meeting my friend who also likes Predator, and who is not called Dillon.
"CIA got you pushin' too many pencils?" - Seeing somebody struggle with a task.
"He's using the trees." - Any sort of bird noises that occur when I'm with a group of people.
"Get to the chopper." - As popular as it is, I've never been able to use it in a daily conversation.
I think this would be fun if every body was a monkey and have your neck snapped.

It helps when you don't neccesarily think of 'CHOPPAAA' as a helicopter, but rather some chopping of vedgetables to be done in daily cooking.

I had no idea you were a cannibal. Just because they can't defend themselves doesn't give you the right to chop them up and cook them.

After watching just half of that trailer, I already feel like I've been skullfucked by Cthulhu.

That looks so...yuck....

I have to admit, I don't really get what the fuzz is all about with Paul Thomas Anderson. His films aren't THAT good. At least, in my eyes.

Trying to convince my friend to watch Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. It's not working.

I agree, McLovin

I watched the remake of Fright Night the other day. It's pretty decent.
